My Cumberland Mountain Family |
Welcome to Genealogy Crazy......A page dedicated to my Cumberland Plateau Families of Ashburn, Miller, Shellito, Steelman and those that connect to them such as Todd, Elmore, Bowman and many others. These ancestors were born, raised or migrated to the area of Fentress, Cumberland and Overton County, Tennessee by the early 1800's.
The ancestral files located on this page are as correct as possible with the information currently at hand. They represent lots of work, time and money spent by me and many cousins who have been willing to share their information. So treat it and us kindly. You will note I don't share information on this website about living individuals if you are connected to these families I will share it with you but please don't put it on any website.
This is what I know about my Miller ancestors and its not a great lot. I've gotten hung up in 1805 on Hiram Miller and can't seem to get any further back.
